BIOGRAPHY

Jorge Yadiel Santos Burgos, Natural of the Town of Cayey, Puerto Rico.

A young man who started in music from a very young age studying the saxophone. I was instilled into Music by his Dad who in turn was his first Music teacher. Jorge Yadiel began his music studies at 8 years of age. Although the saxophone is his main instrument he is always attracted to different instruments such as percussion, piano, bass, Voice and other wind instruments. It was at the Benigno Fernández García School in Cayey that he continues his studies in Music.

 

Jorge Yadiel began exponentially at 15 years of age playing Puerto Rican folk music. Then Jorge Yadiel along with childhood friends and schoolmates decided to make a Salsa Orchestra in his hometown of Cayey, La Orquesta Placer Sonoro standing out to play the Baritone saxophone and his short age and small stature people asked "How Can you play that big thing? " In that orchestra he began to make a study and an own account the instrument, his voice.

 

Jorge Yadiel began working as a professional back up singer for a renowned artist in 2012. The first artist to give him the opportunity was Carlos Enrique "El Cano" Estremera. "El Cano" was the turning point for Jorge, so he started to work on his back up and lead singer talents. From that place emerged that he was called more artists, the first was Charlie Santiago and Salsabor, which he works for a year or two in that orchestra. Working with "El Cano" is where Pete Perignon and Jorge Yadiel meet, later in 2014 Pete Perignon calls Jorge Yadiel to be the back up singer for his orchestra at "El Bailable de Reyes" organized by Don Perignon.

 

Georgie, Yadiel as many worked with a wide range of artists such as: Cano Estremera, Charlie Cruz, Luiggi Texidor, Choco Orta, Ismael Miranda, Adalberto Santiago, Julio Cesar Sanabria, Herman Olivera, Aymee Nuviola, Charlie Aponte, Victor Manuelle, Tito Nieves , Johnny Rivera, Willie Rosario, Elvis Crespo, Jerry Rivera, José Lugo and Guasábara Combo and Pete Perignon and his Orchestra.

 

Jorge Yadiel was in charge of recording 6 songs on the album titled "La Esquina del Bailador" and 4 songs on the album "En Blanco y Negro", both produced by Pete Perignon.
